About Us

A statue of a deer with an American flag in the background.

Garden Grove Elks Lodge No. 1952 has been a fixture at 11551 Trask Ave long enough that some members' grandchildren are now regulars, a fact that says more about this place than any slogan could. The Lodge earned a 4.6-star rating across 340 reviews not by chasing trends but by doing the same things well for decades: a welcoming dining room, honest food, and a calendar packed with events that give the community genuine reasons to gather.

The Lodge has hosted everything from OC Brewers Guild Invitational tastings to weekly bingo nights, drawing crowds that range from craft-beer enthusiasts to longtime members splitting a plate special the way they have for thirty-plus years. That mix of old-timers and newcomers is exactly what a fraternal lodge is supposed to look like, and No. 1952 pulls it off without making either group feel out of place.

As a chapter of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, the Lodge also channels its energy into community service, scholarship programs, and veteran support, giving members a reason to show up that goes beyond the dining room. If you've never stepped inside, the door on Trask is easier to open than you might think.

What We Offer

The Lodge runs a full-service dining room where members and their guests can enjoy affordable plate specials, and the kitchen is flexible enough to split portions for couples who've been doing exactly that for decades. Weekly bingo nights are a staple, with both standard and visual game-pack options available at the door.

Beyond the regular schedule, No. 1952 opens its doors for large-scale community events, private parties, and regional gatherings like beer festivals. The venue has enough space to accommodate a crowd, though early arrival is genuinely recommended when a popular event is on the calendar, as the parking lot fills fast.

Membership in the Elks unlocks access to the full Lodge experience, including scholarship opportunities, veteran outreach programs, and the kind of social network that only a fraternal organization built over generations can provide. Prospective members can inquire at the Lodge or visit elks1952.org to learn how to join.

"When purchasing packs was asked the option of a visual or regular program. I choose visual but the games in that programed didn't correlate with what the announcer called for the game. NOT gonna be coming back here. They dont give the rule before every game compared to other places I've gone too. Very disappointed with how they handle calls and rules."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
